Turkmenistan Extends Invitation to UAE President

Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Bayram Bayramov, handed an official invitation to President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to visit Turkmenistan. The handover took place at the Qasr Al Watan Palace in Abu Dhabi during a ceremony for the presentation of credentials, the first part of which, including the playing of national anthems before the honor guard, was held on November 27, according to a press release from Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The ceremony was attended by UAE Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Office, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Ambassador Bayramov conveyed greetings from Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen People, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The sides discussed bilateral cooperation and the participation of a UAE delegation in the International Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, the International Day of Neutrality, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.

President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated Ambassador Bayramov on his appointment and wished him success in strengthening bilateral relations. In response, the ambassador expressed gratitude for the support of cooperation and reaffirmed his commitment to fostering friendship between the two countries.
