Bilateral trade between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan reached $363.6 million in the first nine months of 2025, up 5.4% from the same period last year, the International Information Agency Kazinform reported Monday.
Kazakh exports totaled $221.7 million, while imports from Turkmenistan reached $141.9 million. Turkmen exports are mainly gas, agricultural products, and basic chemical materials.
Official statistics show that trade between the two countries totaled $555.7 million in 2024.
Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan have also agreed to open mutual trade houses in Almaty and Ashgabat.
