Expanding the mutually advantageous cooperation of Turkmenistan with foreign countries was the main issue discussed at numerous events held last month - political consultations, business talks, consultations, educational conferences organized through digital networks, exhibitions, and cultural events. All of these are clear indicators of the effective work of ministries and departmental administrations in the successful implementation of the "Open Doors" policy under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

On May 3, the first meeting of the "Turkmenistan-United Nations Organization" strategic advisory board was held in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During it, the work to be done on the development of the "Framework program of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN in the field of sustainable development for 2026-2030" was discussed, as well as youth policy, digitalization, demography, "green" energy, climate change. 8 projects were considered in the following areas. According to the results of the meeting, several documents related to environmental protection, health care, and agriculture were signed.

On May 7, at the meeting with the head of the Turkmen-Austrian community Neda Berger at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was noted that the joint relations in the cultural system are at a high level. The Vienna Ball and the concerts of the Turkmen-Austrian symphony orchestra "Galkynysh", which are regularly held in Turkmenistan, can be cited as clear examples of cultural dialogue. On May 14, the delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the meeting at the level of deputy foreign ministers of the countries participating in the "Central Asia-Japan" dialogue held in Astana. During the meeting, urgent issues of cooperation between Central Asian countries and Japan in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian fields were discussed.
