The international forum, Turkmenistan Economy Days, successfully concluded in Frankfurt am Main, Federal Republic of Germany. The event was aimed at strengthening trade, economic and investment cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany, as well as with other member states of the European Union.
The forum was organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and TMT Consulting Group, with the support of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Frankfurt am Main and the Eastern Committee of the German Economy.
The event brought together 43 representatives of Turkmen state institutions and 63 representatives of the private sector. In addition, 126 foreign participants from Germany and other European countries attended the forum.
Overall, the forum united representatives of more than 70 German companies and industrial associations, as well as 55 Turkmen enterprises and several key ministries and agencies. The programme included plenary sessions, four panel discussions, 86 B2B and 38 B2G meetings, and the signing of 12 memoranda and agreements.
Ojar Aziýa and John Deere, as the forum’s principal sponsors, underscored the event’s prominence and importance, showcasing the commitment of leading business groups to enhancing cooperation between Turkmenistan and European nations.
