From 13 to 16 October 2025, the delegation of Turkmenistan led by Deputy Minister of Communications Mr. Berdi Berdiyew paid a working visit to Dubai at the invitation of the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) to attend the International Tech Exhibition GITEX Global 2025.

The delegation explored innovations in digital transformation, telecommunications, cybersecurity and data governance, visiting the Main Government Pavilion and stands of TDRA and Digital Dubai.

On 15 October, meetings were held with Mr. Younus Al Nasser, CEO of the Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment (DDaSE), affiliated with the Digital Dubai Authority, and Eng. Majed Sultan Al Mesmar, Director General of TDRA.

The sides discussed cooperation in data management, digital public services, cloud technologies and ICT training. The Turkmen side invited Digital Dubai and TDRA to join the "Turkmentel-2025" exhibition in Ashgabat on 12-14 November 2025 and proposed bilateral talks on digital government and cybersecurity.
