Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan totaled $677.8 million in January–August 2025, according to a report from Uzbekistan’s State Committee on Statistics.

During the period, Uzbekistan imported Turkmen goods worth $581.6 million. Over the same period, Uzbekistan’s exports to Turkmenistan amounted to $96.2 million.

Uzbekistan’s total foreign trade turnover for the period reached $51.4 billion, up $8.5 billion from the same period in 2024.

Earlier, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan agreed on an action plan to increase mutual trade volumes to $2 billion.
