These days, the Turkmen people are widely celebrating Gurban Bayram. Sacrificial offerings are made in the country according to the traditions inherited from our ancestors.

This year, the holiday of Eid falls on June 16-17-18. Those days were declared non-working days in the country. At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on June 14, the President of Turkmenistan signed a document to change the holiday of June 16, 2024 to June 19 - Wednesday.

During the days of Gurban Bayram, well-known bakshes, artists and artistic enthusiasts of the country perform in public events organized on decorated stages in the squares of administrative centers of etraps.

Loud noises, young riders riding Akhalteke horses, sports competitions and national games, festive celebrations and delicious meals create the general image of cultural events dedicated to the Holy Feast of Sacrifice.

As is the tradition, on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, Eid prayers are offered in all mosques of the country.

On the days of Gurban Bayram, every house prepares festive dishes for guests and prays to the Great Biribar for the peace of our country and the peace of our country.
