President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a resolution approving the organization of a high-level investment forum, set to take place on September 18–19, 2025, in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. The forum aims to attract both foreign and domestic investment, improve the efficiency of Turkmenistan’s investment policy, expand export potential, and strengthen international economic cooperation, according to official state media on Friday.
Under the resolution, the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been tasked with ensuring the event is organized at a high standard. The forum is expected to serve as a key platform for presenting new economic initiatives and investment projects, including energy, transport, digital technologies, and agriculture.
The event is being held within the framework of the national development strategy, “Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State”, which aims to ensure sustainable socio-economic growth and promote Turkmenistan’s integration into the global economic landscape.
The Avaza National Tourist Zone will host the TIF 2025 Investment Forum, providing a venue for dialogue focused on economic development, investment attraction, and international partnership building.
