President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced the start of the cotton harvest campaign during the regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Friday. The campaign will begin on September 10 across all regions of the country, according to official Turkmen media.

Addressing the members of the Cabinet, the President emphasized the importance of the upcoming harvest for the agricultural sector. In keeping with tradition, the President requested that the respected elders give the symbolic start to the harvest with the words "Bismillah!".

Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished cotton farmers and all agricultural workers great success in their labor and high results during the upcoming campaign.

The Cabinet of Ministers also discussed several other national matters, and relevant decisions were made.
